The Clarkson Pub in Downtown Barrie has historic roots going back to the 19th Century . The building used to be called the Clarkson Hotel and was once a one-dollar hot/cold bathhouse, with a gentlemen's only lounge. In the recent past, the bar was called " Tiff's " before that business relocated elsewhere. In 2011, and after extensive renovations, Erin Byrne re-opened the facility and named it The Clarkson Pub in recognition of its heritage. The Clarkson Pub is committed to making this your ' Home Away From Home " with a new menu, excellent service, courteous staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Located at the corner of Mulcaster and Dunlop Street, the building retains its original Architectural elements.
